Soccer game day dip is a simple and easy meal that takes only five minutes to make and pairs great with your favorite chip!Â
Soccer season has officially started in our house. Nights are spent running to games, practices and pretty much all over town. Add in school, choir, band, taekwondo and dance and the fact that I'm a single mom 4-5 days a week while my husband travels and it's crazy!!
Today as part of the Secret Recipe Club I'm highlighting Lauren of Sew You Can Cook. She is coming to my rescue today because
1. T's soccer game is tonight.
2. T's soccer game ends approximately 15 minutes before his favorite football team is about to play.
3. Therefore, T and the rest of the kids will come home from his game starving and wanting to eat anything and everything in the refrigerator.
4. For some reason, football games in our house require some sort of game day food. It's mandatory. That means that in the ten minutes it takes to drive home from the soccer game, I'll walk in the door and have five minutes to make dinner.
With only five minutes I'm grateful that this meal is as simple as opening a few cans and heating it in the microwave. Five minute dinners are my favorite!
Everyone who has followed this website for awhile knows that we LOVE our game nights and always love some good food to go with it. Lauren has some amazing recipes to help you out on game nights including:
